Mr. Sophal Chhin brings over two decades of experience in agriculture to his role as chairman at Royal Trust Trading Co., Ltd. Following the completion of his Master’s degree in Business Administration from Pannasastra University in 2004, he embarked on extensive visits to Thailand, Vietnam, Korea, and China, gaining valuable insights into their agricultural and food industries.
As an experienced farmer specializing in cassava, cashew nuts, and rice cultivation, Mr. Chhin understands the challenges Cambodian farmers face in exporting their products. His observations underscored the prevalence of Cambodian agricultural exports as raw products, leading to lower prices and reduced value compared to neighboring countries.
This realization prompted him to establish RTT, aiming to address these challenges and create greater value for Cambodian agricultural products in the global market.
